Wendy's Bios

Artist Statement

I love fabric. I love color. I love to stitch. Quilting combines all of these loves and this mixture drives my passion to create. My quilts tell stories of people, places and journeys that are important to me. The visions, feelings and messages for these stories energetically dart about inside me. Using the medium of fabric, thread and original design in my art quilts, offers me the spontaneous freedom to express and direct this internal energy into visual, very textural images I can share with others.
